Edgenuity’s 20/20 Vision Video Contest Winners
Edgenuity’s 20/20 Vision Video Contest challenged schools and districts to highlight
how online and blended learning solutions were improving academic outcomes for
students, teachers, schools and districts across the country. All of the contest participants
showcased great examples of the many ways schools are using Edgenuity to engage
students and help them achieve their academic goals. Here are the winning videos:
Winning Video - Henrico County
Grand prize winner Henrico County School District in Virginia received a $5,000 technology grant for their video highlighting how technology is driving personalized learning and tailored instruction to bolster student performance and understanding. Intervention Specialist Kimberlin Cooke states that through the use of Edgenuity, "Graduation rates are going up by leaps and bounds and the drop-out rate is declining. It’s been rewarding to see how technology can help transform the classroom and empower our students to achieve even more."
Runner Up - Coppell Independent School District
As a runner up, Coppell Independent School District’s video, "The Future is Here," focuses on how online and blended learning solutions help to cultivate self-directed, resourceful problem solvers.
Runner Up - Mayville School District
Mayville School District was also named a runner up for its submission entitled "FACES," which demonstrates how Edgenuity provides immediate feedback that motivates students eager to jump ahead as well as those requiring extra support.
