Edgenuity, a leading provider of online curriculum and instructional services for the K-12 market, announced today it has been recognized by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) as an approved course provider for middle and high school students. Edgenuity will now offer Maryland students more learning opportunities than ever before though approved online core, elective, Advanced Placement® and test preparation course options aligned with the Maryland Content Standards.

The MSDE provides local school systems with an approved list of online credit-bearing student courses, with approval limited to identified course providers. The approved courses have undergone a review process by a local school system, by the MSDE, or by a MSDE approved third party reviewing company as aligned with Maryland Content Standards.
