Our courses, curriculum, and online learning solutions feature instructional strategies, evidence-based practices, and learning tools and scaffolds designed to support the unique needs of all learners, including students with special educational needs. User-friendly customization tools make it easy to make accommodations and modifications as needed for students, and our Special Education Services team partners with educators to give students all the support they need to succeed.
Online and blended learning offers flexibility and individualized instruction that isn’t always available with traditional classroom instruction, enabling students to complete their work at their own pace and in settings that work best for them. And the tools and resources built into our courses support students’ varied learning styles and unique needs.
All of Edgenuity’s courses feature videos of expert, on-screen teachers who deliver direct instruction, orient students to lesson goals, ground concepts in relevant real-world applications, and offer clear and concise explanations of subject matter. On-screen teachers model and explicitly teach students a wide variety of learning strategies such as self-monitoring, self-evaluation, goal setting, questioning, and self-explanation.
